DuSable Alumni Accomplishment Awards
DuSable Alumni Accomplishment Awards
(To be presented at the DuSable Reunion 2008)
This year’s Reunion Banquet will feature an awards ceremony honoring some of DuSable’s best and brightest!
DuSable has a very rich history of notable achievers. It probably does not get the attention it deserves but DuSable alumni continue to make a difference in society through their accomplishments.
We feel it is important to let everyone know more about DuSable’s high achievers and success stories so we plan to honor just a few from the classes graduating between 1977 thru 1983 at the DuSable 2008 Reunion dinner July 26th. We are counting on you to help us help our own “diamonds in the rough” by sending in nominations for the “D3” (DuSable Alumni Accomplishment Award).
Here is the deal……
-Nominees MUST be from the graduating classes of 1977, 1978, 1979,1980,1981,1982 or 1983 only.
-Any reunion attendee can nominate someone for the award.
-Nominee must have truly unique and truly outstanding accomplishments.
-Resumes, biographies and news clippings of the nominee are very helpful and should be submitted.
-Examples of notable accomplishments might include ministerial leadership, business/entrepreneurial excellence, military decoration, outstanding community/public service, notable entertainment/sports achievement, professional excellence, etc.
-The Reunion Committee will serve as the award selection judges.
-Everyone nominated cannot win the award this year. This is meant to be a totally positive experience. Therefore, No Hating! Nominees will have chances at future reunions. There can only be 3 top awards and some honorable mentions this time around.
-Awards will be presented at the Reunion Dinner Banquet.
Awards Nomination deadline was July 1, 2008.
